Coach. Payments operator. Fierce D&I advocate.

Alex Ng, Coaching for Good

Alex is a Singapore based executive coach and a senior payments strategist. He is currently at Ant International. Before that, he was part of foodpanda's APAC Fintech team at Delivery Hero, where he led the foodpanda × CTBC Bank × Visa cobranded card launch in Taiwan. Earlier in his career, he built his payments craft at American Express. Eighteen years in, he is still in the room.

Most of his operating work has been about the same hard thing. Getting a room of stakeholders to agree on what good looks like. Internal and external, across functions, across markets. That is also, not coincidentally, the hard thing about most newly bigger roles.

He coaches because the questions that matter most in those moments are rarely the ones leaders ask out loud. They are about how you see yourself, see your stakeholders, and choose what to prioritise when everything is asking for your time.

Alex is a credentialed executive coach with the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches (WABC™), and has worked with mid to senior leaders across industries. His most rewarding moments, in his own words, are not about strategy or goals. They are the genuine “aha” moments where a shift in perspective unlocks a wave of energy and purpose.

He has been a fierce advocate for diversity and inclusion in every team he has led, because teams that bring their full selves to work do better work. That is also why he chose Oogachaga, Singapore's most established LGBTQ+ charity, as the beneficiary of Coaching for Good. The cause is his, but the coaching stands on its own.
