Coaching for Good
Why this is called Coaching for Good.
Executive coaching often feels out of reach. Many see it as a luxury, confuse it with therapy, or simply never get the chance to experience it in their careers. Coaching for Good is a small attempt to change that, without cheapening what coaching is.
You pay a flat token contribution for the Three Session Shift. 100% of that contribution is forwarded to Oogachaga, Singapore's first and most established LGBTQ+ counselling and support organisation.
Your investment in yourself becomes a quiet act of support for a community that does essential, important work.
What ‘Good’ means here
Three meanings, deliberately layered.
01
Good for the coachee
You gain perspective, clarity, and movement on the things that matter in your role.
02
Good for leadership
You become more intentional, better aligned with stakeholders, more effective in your first 90 to 180 days.
03
Good for others
Your token contribution supports a cause that matters, turning personal development into a small act of public good.
‘Good’ here means useful, not virtuous.
About Oogachaga
Oogachaga is Singapore's first and most well known community based counselling, support, and personal development organisation for LGBTQ+ individuals, couples, and families. Founded by volunteers in 1999, it operates today with credentialed professional counsellors, alongside community workshops, support groups, and corporate training.
Alex chose Oogachaga as the beneficiary of Coaching for Good because he believes that quiet, sustained support for LGBTQ+ individuals and families is among the most useful kinds of good a person can do in Singapore today. The cause is his, but the coaching stands on its own.
How the contribution flows
- 1
You pay a flat coaching contribution of SGD 50 (or USD 40) via Stripe. This is a coaching fee, not a tax deductible donation.
- 2
100% of the net amount is donated to Oogachaga.
- 3
You receive coaching with the same intent, preparation, and standard as any paid engagement, because that is what it is.
Your contribution is a coaching fee, not a donation, and is not tax deductible.
